Autumn Term 2025
Our English focus for the term will be:
This term, our first focus book is 'When We Walked on the Moon' by David Long. This book tells the story of the Apollo Missions, when incredible intelligence, engineering and bravery allowed humans to stand on the surface of something other than Earth for the very first time.
After half term, our second focus book will be 'FaRther' by Grahame Baker-Smith. This stunning picture book by significant author Grahame Baker-Smith won the Kate Greenaway medal in 2011 and explores the relationship between a father a son.

Our English focus for the term will be:
This term, our first focus book is 'Rose Blanche' by Christophe Gallaz & Roberto Innocenti. A young German girl watches as the streets of her town fill with soldiers and tanks. Then, one day, she follows a truck into the woods and discovers a terrible secret.
After half term, our second focus book will be 'A Story Like the Wind' by Gill Lewis. A beautifully illustrated story of freedom, music, and seeking refuge.
